STUDIO POLICIES
Updated January 2026
To Our Community,
At The Heart Of It, we believe in nurturing a supportive community for all families. We want to share important updates regarding our policies that reflect our commitment to fostering an inclusive, clean and safe environment. These policies aim to enhance your experience with us while ensuring that every member feels valued. As we continue to grow from our roots in Stroller Strong Mamas and Little Moments Little Fam, we remain dedicated to building a stronger, more connected community together. Please review the following policies at The Heart of It.

HOW TO JOIN US:
REGISTRATION AND CANCELLATION POLICIES: Advanced registration is required for classes and events. Our instructors plan based on class size, waivers are completed within registration and we take into consideration the number of adults, kids and ages for every class. It is much appreciated when you complete the booking forms accurately with the important information we ask.
Class registration closes one hour prior to the start of regularly scheduled classes. Special events may have different registration cut offs based on the type of event or workshop. The cancellation window for all of our regularly scheduled classes is 2 hours prior to the start of class. Cycling, workshops and special events are now 12 hours before.
LATE CANCELLATIONS/NO SHOW POLICY: A late cancellation or no-show will incur a charge for the full class. This cancellation policy also applies to membership holders and class package holders. Important note: Beginning next week, families will be asked to complete a printed credit card authorization form.
FULL CLASSES: If a class is full, please add yourself to the waitlist. You will be notified if we are able to add you into the class/event. Clients who drop-in without advanced registration, may be turned away if a class is full. All classes are set with a maximum capacity and each class has a specific number of participants allotted to ensure everyone has a good experience.
STUDIO CLOSURE/ CANCELLATIONS: Please note, that any event or class is subject to cancellation due to low enrollment, inclement weather, etc. In the event of a cancellation on the end of the Company, registrants will be offered a full refund or credit for an upcoming session.
YOUR PACKAGES AND MEMBERSHIPS:
NON TRANSFERRABLE/ REFUND POLICY: Packages and Memberships cannot be transferred, refunded or credited once they have begun being used. If a purchase was made by accident, please contact us immediately to rectify the purchase before it is used.
EXPIRATION POLICY: Please take note of expiration dates on classes and packages. If you need to extend a package of classes because it is expiring soon, there is a $20 charge or one class deducted from the package for a 3 month extension. Once a package expires, we cannot reactivate a package. Please contact us via email with ample time to extend a package well BEFORE it expires.
IN THE STUDIO:
CLEAN SNEAKERS PLEASE: Our studio has a clean sneaker or no shoe policy for sanitary reasons. Please carry in sneakers that have not been worn outdoors or plan to be without shoes. This applies to children as well.
BRING YOGA MATS: For all fitness classes, we encourage you to bring your own clean yoga mat or sanitary reasons. Please do not use a mat you have used outdoors inside the studio.
SNACK POLICY: We understand kids like to snack. They may sit in the main entry area on the benches or kids table to eat. Nut free snacks only. We do not allow snackers to float around the studio or eat in any other area. If your child cannot handle this policy, we ask that you do not feed them in the studio or you must sit with them.
KIDS CLASSES MAY NEED ADULT ASSISTANCE: Many of our young kiddos need adult assistance or eyes watching during our kids’ classes, workshops and events. We love creating little moments for you and your little ones to make memories together but kids will be kids! They all like to put things in their mouths, explore the messy art materials and may need some redirection to the projects/activities/etc.
LITTLE KIDS LIKE TO EXPLORE: Depending on the type of class you join us for, there will be other areas of the studio not in use. We try hard to keep them gated/ blocked off. We are asking that you please help us keep children in the space your class is taking place in.
OUTDOOR EXPLORERS: We don’t mind little outdoor explorers, however we need them to safely be within eyesight during classes. Outdoor bathrooms must be used with a parent/guardian.
HOW TO CONTACT US:
We receive many messages via IG and FB, where we may not respond quickly. Our personal phones are for emergencies only. We prefer you contact us via email, theheartofitli@gmail.com, or through the app or website’s chat option for quicker responses.
We appreciate your efforts in helping us create a fun and safe environment for our community at The Heart of It!
